John McCordic, B.Sc. (P.T.)

A practicing professional, John is also involved in the community providing physiotherapy at various Summer Games, nationally sanctioned swimming and judo events, plus numerous provincial level team sports. He also has a keen interest in the application of his clinical experience with the development of relevant bio-mechanical devices and equipement which create an interface between the field of physiotherapy and mechanical design.
In addition to treating sports and orthopedic injuries, John has been manufacturing orthotic devices for the past 20 years. He has integrated the evolution of today's technology, including dynamic pressure analysis and digital imaging. Procedures measure the dynamic pressure distribution along the bottom surface of the foot while you are walking. Prescribed orthotics are backed by a 30 day money back guarantee. Prior to establishing NSOSC, John was an active partner in Ski Schools for physically disabled youth, and has published comprehensive manuals relating to this specialty.
Jacqui Steinberg B.Sc. (P.T.) MCPA

After qualifying with a degree in physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa she re-qualified as a Canadian physiotherapist in 1990. In South Africa she studied and worked under the guidance of a leading sports medicine physician. Complimenting this experience Jacqui has been a trainer for a first league rugby team and worked on medical teams for various summer and winter games.
Post graduate study includes courses in orthopedics, lower limb and foot mechanics, orthotic prescription, sports injuries, functional testing, job demands analysis, ergonomic analysis and intervention, exercise, training techniques, stretching prescription, Pilates for physiotherapists and the use of yoga practice for physiotherapy.
Philosophy Balance acute management using manual techniques, electrotherapeutic modalities and exercise programs with a view to fast return to normal activities including sport and work with long term management. Long term encouragment in education and client participation, exercise/ stretching programs ( including weight training, core strengthening, pilates principles, stretching , posture training, balance and alignment using yoga principles) to achieve optimal strength, alignment and balance in the body to avoid further problems.
Moez Dhanji, MCPA, MCSP (LON)

His many years of experience, strong commitment towards patient care, education, attention to detail and knowledge of physiotherapy modalities has made him a therapist who is asked for time and again by physicians and patients. He enjoys helping patients achieve their goals and involves the patient in developing a treatment plan and a home care regime that grows over time with the patient’s progress. In his spare time, Moez enjoys gardening, sports and long walks with his family.
Gavin Robertson, R.M.T.

A graduate of the WestCoast College of Massage Therapy, who always advises his patients that it is time to take the time for himself or herself.Gavin’s primary focus is to identify the source of pain and dysfunction, and emphasize appropriate, comprehensive treatment. Christine Elsey (PhD)
Christine has been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 20 years. She has developed her own approach to Hatha Yoga using a blend of various alternative therapeutic and educational movement techniques. She has taught all levels including children, adults and seniors at the beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. Christine also specializes in private, one-on-one, sessions that can effectively address individual restrictions and difficulties.
Rose Landry B.C.R.P.A.
Rose is certified as a B.C.R.P.A personal trainer. She is also certified as an in-group fitness, third age instructor, is certified as a B.C. women’s “Osteo-fit” instructor and has been a trainer for UBC better bones and balance research.
