Our cilnic's Patient Care Coordinator, Kristina Vandervoort, will attend next week's inaugural reception of the Huntington Society of Canada's Great Canadians Series at the Government Conferenace Centre in Ottawa. The event is co-hosed by Speaker of the House of Commons, Hon Peter Milliken. Kristina, who has been raising the issue of ending genetic discrimination with federal and provincial politicians, is ecstatic that a Private Members bill has been brought before Parliament and hopes that it will be enacted into law.
Our physiotherapist Jacqui Steinberg will be speaking at North Shore Athletics on Tuesday September 28 at 6.30pm. The topic of the talk is Achilles Tendonitis/Tendonosis.
